The Circular Fabric Slitting Machine (also known as Fabric Slitter or Tubular Fabric Opener) is specialized equipment in the finishing process for tubular knitted fabrics. It is primarily used to precisely slit tubular knitted fabrics longitudinally into open-width form, facilitating subsequent processes such as setting, printing, dyeing, or coating. Utilizing circular knives or hot knives for slitting, combined with spreading devices and tension control systems, the machine ensures straight cutting paths and neat edges without melting. It is indispensable pretreatment equipment for open-width processing of knitted fabrics.

1. Utilizes high-quality circular knives or electrically heated hot knives for precise slitting with neat edges. Circular knives are suitable for conventional fabrics such as cotton and T/C blends, offering sharpness and durability; hot knives are ideal for synthetic and blended fabrics, fusing the fabric edges during slitting to prevent unraveling. Blade angle and pressure are adjustable to accommodate different fabric thicknesses and materials.
2. Equipped with spreading rollers and blowing/suction devices to fully open and smoothly adhere the tubular fabric onto the slitting platform. The photoelectric centering system automatically detects the fabric centerline or preset slitting position, adjusting the knife holder position in real-time to ensure the slitting path remains centered, preventing off-center cuts.
3. Inverter speed control enables low-tension or tension-free fabric transport during slitting. Synchronous conveyor belts or rollers ensure smooth fabric advancement, preventing stretching deformation and preserving the fabric's original elasticity and dimensional stability.
4. Optional edge waste winding devices or blowing devices automatically collect or remove edge trimmings generated during slitting, keeping the work area clean. When using hot knives, the edges are fused smoothly without requiring additional treatment.
5. The fabric outlet can be configured with a swing-arm doffing device (neatly folding the slit open-width fabric) or surface batching device (winding the fabric into rolls) according to subsequent process requirements. Folding width and winding tension are adjustable to meet different production needs.
