The textile machinery industry provides technical equipment for the textile industry and is an important component of the national equipment manufacturing industry. It plays a vital role in enhancing the international competitiveness of the textile industry, improving the level of technical equipment in the textile industry, and optimizing the industrial structure of the textile industry. my country's textile machinery products are comprehensive, mainly including: chemical fiber machinery, spinning machinery, weaving machinery, knitting machinery, dyeing and finishing machinery, and nonwoven fabric machinery.
From 2006 to 2007, the textile machinery industry as a whole showed a steady growth trend, with the total import and export volume increasing by more than 20% year-on-year. In 2008, it was significantly affected by the financial crisis, with major economic indicators declining significantly year-on-year. From January to December 2008, the cumulative total industrial output value was 52.727 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 6.12%; the total import and export volume in 2008 was 5.397 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 15.78%. From 2006 to 2008, with strong national support, active industry promotion, and the unremitting efforts of enterprises, my country's textile machinery industry saw a continuous emergence of new products through independent research and development and industrialization of textile machinery products, represented by the following 10 new major equipment items. Exhibits from domestic exhibitions show that the technological level of my country's nonwoven fabric machinery manufacturing enterprises has significantly improved, narrowing the gap with advanced foreign levels. my country is now capable of producing most single machines and production lines for nonwoven fabric production, such as equipment for needle punching, spunbond, hydroentangling, meltblown, air-laid pulp, thermal bonding, and chemical bonding. It can also provide complete sets of polypropylene hot-rolling production lines, polyester needle punching production lines, and polyester hot-rolling and needle punching production lines. Furthermore, it has developed SMS spunbond composite production lines and bicomponent spunbond composite production lines.
Drawing methods include integral spinneret negative pressure drawing, small spinneret positive pressure drawing, and small spinneret positive pressure tubular drawing. The widest domestically produced hydroentangling production line reaches 3.5 meters; hydroentangling machines include one-roller, two-roller, three-roller, and platform types; among them, advanced features such as water-sealed hydroentangling heads, honeycomb suction rollers with 90% permeability, and hot air penetration dryers with honeycomb circular mesh structures are approaching international advanced levels. my country's needle punching machines have basically formed a series, but they are all traditional vertical needle punching methods, belonging to general-purpose needle punching machines, with a maximum width of 10.5 meters and a maximum needle punching frequency of 1800 times/second.
